Wagner Kablo was founded in 1992 as a joint venture between Kabelwerk Wagner GmbH & Co. KG and the Turkish Family of Ünsal.
The factory located in Antalya Free Zone started its production during March 1993. Later on, Kabelwerk Wagner was acquired byDraka Holding NV - Amsterdam based Multinational Cable Group - in 1994. Then the company became a Dutch-Turkish Joint Venture. Due to World Economic Conditions Draka Holding NV decided to concentrate on her core acitivities . Currently Draka Holding plays in Wagner Kablo rather as a stratetic partner instead of a major shareholder .
